The Role: Senior Electrical Engineer

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its team in Duba. This full-time position requires an experienced professional to contribute to engineering assignments, develop technical documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role involves independent work on primary design elements and providing mentorship to junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specific and moderate portions of broader engineering assignments.
• Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established procedures.
• Execute detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and simple tests.
• Propose approaches to solve new problems by modifying standard procedures or methods from previous assignments.
• Identify discrepancies in results and implement corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers on technical concepts and best practices.
• Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision.
• Independently complete all tasks necessary for primary design elements of engineering works.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, calculations, and test reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure design feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct design reviews and quality assurance testing to verify system performance and reliability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and methodologies.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a professional engineering position.
• Demonstrated developmental experience in a professional engineering role.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks within budget and schedule.
