The Role of Fire & Safety Officer

Almarai is seeking a Fire & Safety Officer to join its team in Hail. This full-time position is critical for ensuring the safety of all personnel, contractors, and visitors across Almarai's site locations and accommodations in Hail. The primary objective is to minimize the risk of loss from fire, smoke, and water damage to company resources, including personnel, buildings, plant and equipment, products, raw materials, and information systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety of all divisional personnel, contractors, and visitors at Hail site locations and accommodation.
• Report any unsafe or defective equipment, practices, acts, or omissions to functional management, ensuring immediate corrective action.
• Conduct fire inspections and maintain fire safety equipment.
• Plan work for subordinates and manage incident/accident reporting.
• Conduct fire drills and provide fire prevention training.
• Investigate fire accidents and perform fire risk assessments and management.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Membership with IOSHE.
• ISO 9001:2008 certified Lead Auditor.

Required Experience and Skills

• 3 years’ experience in a multi-cultural workforce organization.
• 3 to 5 years’ previous experience in fire management.
• Previous experience as a trained fire-fighter with either a civil Fire Brigade or a large multi-national company fire team.
• Proficiency with fire detection and suppression equipment.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Exposure to Computer and SAP Environment.
