The Opportunity: Senior Production Manager (Poultry)

Almarai is seeking a Senior Production Manager (Poultry) to join its team in Hail. This full-time role is critical for managing self-directing, multi-functional teams to ensure efficient processing and packing of poultry products. The position supports the company's aggressive expansion program and acquisitions in new vertical markets, contributing to the group's growth plans.

Role Purpose

The Senior Production Manager will oversee the processing and packing of poultry products to meet internal customer order requirements within defined management performance parameters. This includes ensuring strict adherence to product specifications, quality, and safety standards. The role also involves ensuring all poultry products are packed to fulfill internal customer service requirements while meeting agreed quality specifications and cost parameters, and that all necessary resources are available and utilized safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize product quality to ensure all products meet required specifications.
• Maximize service to internal customers by ensuring the right product is delivered at the right time and with the correct specifications.
• Optimize product yield, minimize wastage, and maximize plant utilization to enhance the profitability of the operation.
• Ensure Health & Safety on-the-job training is conducted for staff to guarantee all activities are performed safely and efficiently.
• Direct, manage, and control required manpower and resources efficiently to achieve production targets.
• Motivate the workforce to meet future business challenges.
• Identify, plan, and implement requisite staff development initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 7-9 years of relevant experience in production management, preferably within the poultry industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-functional teams effectively.
• Strong understanding of product specifications, quality, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in optimizing production processes and resource utilization.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Hail, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic multinational team dedicated to furthering growth plans for the Almarai group.
