The Role of Senior Production Planner

Almarai is seeking a Senior Production Planner to join our full-time team in Hail. This role is central to preparing detailed production plans based on available forecast and actual sales order requirements. The Senior Production Planner will establish and manage the Master Production Schedule to ensure effective utilization of processing and packing machine assets, aiming to achieve agreed service levels for both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed production plans based on available forecast and actual sales order requirements.
• Establish an effective Production Master Production Schedule to optimize the utilization of processing and packing machine assets.
• Monitor the production plan throughout its cycle and communicate necessary changes to relevant departments.
• Review machine performance and recommend adjustments to run rates in collaboration with processing and manufacturing departments.
• Ensure all agreed service levels are met for both internal and external customers.
• Promptly communicate any exceptions to allow for alternative supply solutions.
• Develop practical plans for daily and weekly planning meetings, aiming to meet as many requirements as possible.
• Prevent non-conformance and concessions by ensuring all processing and packing plans adhere to established norms and standard operating procedures.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in production planning or a similar field. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics is essential.
