The Role of Senior Production Planner

Almarai is seeking a Senior Production Planner to join its team in Ha'il, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves preparing detailed production plans based on available forecasts and actual sales order requirements. The Senior Production Planner is responsible for establishing an effective Master Production Schedule to optimize processing and packing machine asset utilization, and for monitoring the plan throughout its cycle, communicating any necessary changes to relevant departments. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed production plans based on available forecast and actual sales order requirements.
• Establish the Production Master Production Schedule to ensure effective utilization of processing and packing machine assets.
• Monitor the production plan throughout its cycle and communicate any changes to the respective departments.
• Review machine performance and recommend changes to run rates in conjunction with the processing and manufacturing departments.
• Ensure all agreed service levels are achieved for both internal and external customers.
• Communicate any exceptions promptly to allow for alternative supply solutions.
• Provide practical plans for daily and weekly planning meetings that meet as many requirements as possible.
• Avoid non-conformance and concessions by ensuring every processing and packing plan adheres to the norms and standards outlined by standard operating procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a production planning role.
• Demonstrated awareness of the importance of customer service, ensuring operations are consistently "On-Time and In-Full".

Location and Employment Type

This is a full-time position based in Ha'il, Saudi Arabia.
