About the Role

JIGPC - Jazan Integrated Gasification and Power Company is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist focused on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to join their team in Jazan. This is a contract position. The role is integral to strengthening cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance across IT, IS, and OT environments, contributing to the development of frameworks, risk mitigation, regulatory adherence, and overall cybersecurity maturity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and enhancement of cybersecurity strategies, policies, and standards.
  • Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and audits, ensuring timely closure of identified findings.
  • Manage and assess cybersecurity risks associated with third-party vendors.
  • Maintain and update the cybersecurity risk register.
  • Lead cybersecurity awareness programs, including the execution of phishing simulations.
  • Monitor and analyze threat intelligence to enhance the organization's security posture.
  • Support the implementation of data security and privacy controls in alignment with regulatory frameworks.
  • Participate in incident response activities and contribute to reporting.
  • Mentor junior team members and prepare performance and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity GRC, IT GRC, or Information Security is required. Proven experience in policy development, risk assessment, and compliance audits is essential.

Preferred Certifications

Preferred certifications include:

  • GRC / Governance: CISA, CRISC, CISM
  • Cybersecurity: CISSP, Security+, SSCP
  • Technical: CEH, GIAC
  • Frameworks: ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, NIST, ITIL

Essential Skills and Knowledge

Key skills for this role include:

  • Strong knowledge of KSA regulations, specifically NCA and HCIS.
  • Proficiency in risk identification and control frameworks.
  • Awareness of the latest IT and OT cybersecurity trends.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Work Arrangement

This is a contract position based in Jazan. The successful candidate will be hired through a registered contractor.
