The Role of Controls Project Engineer

As a Controls Project Engineer, you will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers, collaborating closely with Project Leaders, Integration Managers, and Mechanical and Electrical Engineers. This full-time position is based in Makkah, specifically covering projects in Jeddah and Makkah, and involves managing technical solutions related to control engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and program PLC controls for material handling systems within the Airports domain, ensuring high-quality standards for each project.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary project team to deliver Functional Specifications during the engineering phase.
• Manage the detailed design, programming, and testing of PLC software.
• Travel to customer sites to commission material handling systems upon completion of the engineering phase.
• Conduct functional testing of PLC hardware and software during the commissioning phase.
• Integrate PLC software into the overall control system and support customer acceptance testing.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules closely during execution, taking necessary actions as required.

Project Management and Support

This role involves supporting sales during the bid and contract phases by providing technical expertise in control engineering. During the execution phase, you will work towards the successful completion of one or more international projects, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in controls project engineering.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with project responsibilities spanning cities such as Jeddah and Makkah. The role operates within an international project environment, requiring collaboration with diverse engineering teams.
