The Role of Cybersecurity Analyst - L1

Innovative Solutions is seeking a full-time Cybersecurity Analyst - L1 to join its dedicated Security Operation Center (SOC) team. Based in Riyadh, Al Khobar, or Jeddah, this role involves monitoring security events and incidents, conducting initial triage, and performing response actions. The analyst will utilize various security tools to detect, analyze, and respond to potential threats, working collaboratively with teammates to ensure a strong security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts from various security sources.
• Triage and analyze security incidents to determine appropriate response actions.
• Perform initial incident response tasks, including containment and remediation.
• Collaborate with other members of the SOC team to investigate and resolve security incidents.
• Document and report security incidents and response activities.
• Maintain and update documentation of security processes and procedures.
• Conduct basic analysis of network traffic and log data to identify potential threats.
• Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
• Participate in regular training and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Understanding of network protocols and TCP/IP fundamentals.
