About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Data Privacy Senior Specialist to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on ensuring compliance with data privacy laws and regulations, protecting customer data through effective strategies and policies, and conducting risk assessments.

Role Purpose

The Data Privacy Senior Specialist will be responsible for safeguarding sensitive customer data, including health records and personal information, as well as internal customer data such as employee records. This involves applying evolving technologies and legal frameworks to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement data protection strategies in compliance with departmental directives.
• Execute established strategies for maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
• Address data privacy inquiries, incidents, and breaches effectively to minimize impact and ensure proper protocol.
• Enhance legal compliance and align data handling practices with privacy laws to protect the organization from legal and reputational risks.
• Regularly update data privacy policies to ensure they remain current with evolving laws and business needs.
• Safeguard sensitive data in accordance with data protection strategies to prevent breaches and unauthorized access.
• Participate in regular risk assessments and documentation to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
• Manage incident tracking and reporting, addressing data privacy breaches and incidents promptly.
• Provide a central, continuously updated resource for data privacy information, policies, and regulations within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in data privacy or a related field.

Work Environment

This position operates primarily indoors (100%). The work schedule is 5 days a week, with 2 days off. Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a one-hour break.
