Role Summary

The Director of Sales is a full-time position responsible for leading the sales strategy for the hotel in Makkah and Jeddah. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and cultivating strong relationships with key partners across corporate, government, leisure, MICE, and travel industry segments. The Director of Sales oversees the sales team, establishes annual sales objectives, and ensures the achievement of room, catering, and total hotel revenue goals while upholding luxury hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve hotel revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify new business opportunities across corporate, entertainment, leisure, wholesale, and MICE segments.
• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the sales team to maximize performance and establish annual sales targets and KPIs.
• Manage relationships with key local, regional, and international accounts, including travel agencies, DMCs, event planners, and corporate organizations.
• Participate in sales missions, trade shows, networking events, and customer engagements; negotiate contracts to maximize revenue.
• Develop annual sales budgets and business plans, analyzing market intelligence and production reports.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, inventory, and sales strategies, supporting hotel positioning and brand growth.
• Work closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Catering, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure smooth business transitions.
• Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, business reviews, and market analysis, ensuring compliance with company policies and brand standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in sales leadership within the hospitality industry.
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
• Experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans.
• Strong background in managing and developing sales teams.
• Proficiency in account management and contract negotiation.
