Electro Mechanical Technician

About the Role

Jotun is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves maintaining assets according to standard technical practices and manufacturer requirements to ensure equipment reliability. The technician will adhere to local, regional, segment, and Group requirements, objectives, and guidelines, particularly those related to HSEQ. This position reports to the Assistant Manager – Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance tasks following established standards and procedures, ensuring quality and effectiveness. This includes utilizing and providing inputs for data updates in the Matrix Maintenance System, with a focus on Preventive Maintenance actions, Standard Jobs, and spare part lists & inventory control.
• Actively participate in root cause analysis for recurring and critical breakdowns and failures. Troubleshoot faults independently and provide necessary support for Preventive & Corrective Maintenance of production lines and industrial equipment.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Industrial Electrical, and Mechanical systems, and troubleshooting for equipment such as Pumps, Gearboxes, blowers, fans, seals, Motors, VFD’s, compressors, HVAC, and bearings.
• Support multiple shifts and conduct emergency maintenance, electrical, and mechanical repairs as required. Support the commissioning process for new assets based on HSEQ and engineering standards with work permit procedures.
• Provide support in various PLC Programming languages, control networks, Industrial control systems, and reading and understanding basic mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagrams and drawings.
• Support the update of all necessary maintenance records and estimations through the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Qualifications and Experience

• Vocational Technical course or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical fields.
• 4-6 years of experience in Electro-mechanical and Industrial facility maintenance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
