About the Role
Dimensions is seeking an experienced F&B General Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah. This role is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of all food and beverage operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and profitable performance within the designated outlets.
Core Responsibilities
The F&B General Manager will manage daily restaurant and outlet activities, supervise staff, and uphold high standards of service, hygiene, and product quality. Key duties include developing and implementing operating procedures, menus, and promotional activities. The role also involves monitoring budgets, optimizing costs and revenue, coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory, and analyzing sales data to ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Leadership and Team Development
A significant aspect of this position involves leading, training, and mentoring team members to foster a positive and productive work environment. The F&B General Manager will collaborate with other departments to achieve overall business objectives and ensure seamless operations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in food and beverage operations, specifically in restaurant or hotel F&B management.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, including staff supervision, coaching, and performance management.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, revenue management, and basic financial reporting.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and compliance with local health regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to plan, organize work, prioritize tasks, and solve operational problems effectively.
- Experience in menu planning, pricing strategies, and implementing promotional and marketing activities for F&B outlets.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and standard office software; familiarity with F&B management systems is advantageous.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Experience and Skills
Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is preferred. Fluency in English is required, and Arabic language skills are considered an asset.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Jeddah, with responsibilities extending to operations in Makkah. Dimensions is a services-focused organization supporting clients throughout Saudi Arabia.
