Livestock Manager

About the Role

United Group is seeking a Livestock Manager to oversee and develop the Livestock Feed business. This full-time position is based in the Makkah region, specifically covering Jeddah and Makkah. The role focuses on achieving sales, volume, revenue, and profitability targets through strategic planning, execution, and team leadership.

Role Purpose

The Livestock Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management and growth of the Livestock Feed business. This includes leading sales planning and execution, managing key accounts and distributors, and ensuring effective cross-functional coordination. The manager will also be responsible for leading and coaching the livestock sales team to meet individual and business KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Livestock Feed business to achieve sales, volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Develop and execute sales plans tailored by region, customer segment, and product/SKU.
• Expand market coverage by acquiring new customers and developing existing accounts.
• Identify opportunities for new products, product improvements, and market expansion based on customer feedback and market needs.
• Manage key accounts and build strong, long-term relationships with major customers and distributors.
• Set customer targets and incentive programs to drive volume growth and customer loyalty.
• Monitor market trends, customer demand, competitor activities, pricing, and product performance.
• Coordinate to ensure product availability and maintain required stock levels.
• Coordinate regarding customer credit limits, collections, overdue accounts, and commercial terms.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and participate in Sales and Operations Planning and demand-planning activities.
• Monitor sales performance, customer productivity, and regional performance against targets.
• Lead, coach, and monitor the sales team to ensure achievement of individual and business KPIs.
• Prepare regular sales and business performance reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, credit policies, and approved commercial terms.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in livestock management or a similar field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a business unit to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Experience in leading and coaching sales teams.
• Strong understanding of sales planning, execution, and key account management.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within United Group, operating in the Makkah region, specifically covering the cities of Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves working closely with sales teams, customers, and distributors in the livestock feed sector.
