About the Role

Raytheon Australia is seeking a Patriot Electronics Systems Technician to support the maintenance and operational readiness of electronic defense systems. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

The Electronics Technician will be instrumental in ensuring the functionality and readiness of critical defense systems. This involves performing technical diagnostics, conducting equipment testing, and strictly adhering to established engineering and safety standards. The role requires a dedicated professional committed to maintaining high operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults within electronic defense systems.
• Utilize Depot Test Equipment (DTE) for diagnostic and testing purposes.
• Enforce safety regulations and procedures within the work environment.
• Provide technical assistance and support as required.
• Analyze Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and power supplies.
• Read and interpret engineering documents and electronic circuit diagrams.

Required Qualifications

• A Diploma in Electronics from an accredited college or institute.
• Must be a Saudi national.
• A minimum of 8 years of prior experience in troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, and final inspection of defense systems.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering documents and electronic circuit diagrams.
• General knowledge of maintenance workshop procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in soldering, splicing, and wiring is preferred.
