About the Role

Dar Al-Hekma University is seeking a Physics Lecturer to join its General Education Program. This is a part-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

The Physics Lecturer will be responsible for delivering assigned courses as per the contract. This includes:

• Preparing comprehensive course syllabi for all taught courses.
• Developing and maintaining course files and reports for each course.
• Providing regular and constructive feedback to students on their academic progress.
• Posting course grades on Blackboard in accordance with university policies.
• Communicating any concerns regarding assigned courses to the Department Chair or Director.
• Ensuring all necessary class materials are prepared prior to the start of each session.
• Exploring and implementing innovative teaching strategies to enhance course delivery.
• Attending departmental council meetings when available.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess the following:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience.
• Experience in teaching physics at the university level is expected.

Work Arrangement and Location

This is a Part Time position. The role is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
