The Opportunity: Project Manager - Infrastructure

WSP Middle East is seeking a Project Manager - Infrastructure to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the delivery of complex infrastructure design and masterplanning projects across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. The position requires strong multidisciplinary leadership experience to manage large-scale urban, transport, and infrastructure developments from concept through detailed design and delivery phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary design teams for infrastructure and masterplanning projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, authorities, and key stakeholders.
  • Manage project scope, programme, budget, resources, and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate inputs across various disciplines, including roads, utilities, water, structures, and public realm.
  • Ensure compliance with local standards, codes, and approval requirements.
  • Monitor project performance, quality, and commercial outcomes.
  • Support bids, proposals, and business development initiatives.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to WSP’s project management capabilities in the region.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in delivering infrastructure, roads, highways, and land development projects within a consultancy environment.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary infrastructure design teams.
  • Strong background in delivering projects within Saudi Arabia and/or the wider Middle East.
  • Experience working with Saudi authorities and navigating local approvals processes.
  • Excellent leadership, client management, and communication skills.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with significant Saudi project experience, particularly those familiar with local authorities, approval processes, and stakeholder environments.

Work Location

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, with project involvement extending to Makkah and other locations within the Makkah region and wider Saudi Arabia.
