About the Opportunity

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a dedicated Senior Operator, Main Pulpit to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position is central to our operational efficiency, requiring a professional who can ensure smooth processes and timely responses to various production challenges.

Role Overview

The Senior Operator, Main Pulpit, plays a critical role in monitoring and managing key aspects of the production process. This position involves direct oversight from the main pulpit, ensuring operational safety, product quality, and efficient communication across relevant departments. The incumbent will be responsible for immediate action on operational alerts and accurate reporting of production events.

Key Responsibilities

• Report all unsafe conditions promptly to the Production Shift In-Charge and relevant Mechanical and Electrical personnel.
• Address quality-related concerns raised by the QC Inspector, including issues pertaining to size, weight, or mechanical properties.
• Inform the finishing roller of any issues and, in cases of major problems or potential non-prime finished product, immediately stop rolling and notify both the finishing roller and the Shift In-Charge.
• Respond promptly to alarms displayed on the monitor by informing the concerned area or department and executing the required operational response.
• Record the precise start and end times of any mill delays and ensure that delay details are communicated accurately.
• Document all cobbles that occur during the shift, including relevant operational details as required.
• Prepare the delay and production report at the conclusion of each shift, in consultation with the Shift In-Charge.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar operational capacity, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment. A proven track record of adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures is essential.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a dynamic production environment, requiring vigilance and proactive engagement.
