About the Role

Jazeera Paints is seeking a Showroom Sales Representative to join their team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring an excellent customer experience, achieving sales targets, and maintaining the operational efficiency of the showroom. The role involves managing customer interactions from initial entry through to post-sale support, handling stock, and contributing to overall showroom organization and sales development.

Customer Engagement and Sales Development

The Showroom Sales Representative is responsible for providing a high level of service and guiding customers through their purchasing journey. This includes understanding customer needs, introducing company products, and facilitating order placement.

• Provide professional reception and maintain a high standard of service for all showroom visitors.
• Engage with customers from their entry, introducing products, securing orders, calculating quantities, and assisting with color and product coordination based on their needs.
• Oversee the entire sales process, from order to invoice issuance and proper goods delivery, coordinating with showroom staff including assistants, workers, and drivers.
• Accept and process online customer requests, updating the E-commerce platform while considering required items and stock levels.
• Achieve established sales targets in line with the sales plan.

Showroom and Inventory Management

Maintaining an organized and well-stocked showroom is a critical aspect of this role, ensuring product availability and an appealing environment for customers.

• Ensure the showroom remains organized and clean at all times, with marketing tools such as brochures and catalogues readily available.
• Maintain adequate stock levels for all items, particularly fast-moving products, by placing orders from warehouses based on minimum and maximum levels.
• Apply the first-in, first-out (FIFO) policy to manage stock and prevent dead stock.
• Report all missing products in the main store to the direct manager.
• Ensure goods in warehouses are arranged according to established warehouse policy and procedures to maintain accurate stock and prevent discrepancies during periodic inventory checks.

Operational Reporting and Compliance

The representative is responsible for various reporting duties and ensuring adherence to company policies and financial procedures.

• Submit financial reports to the region accountant as required and ensure daily deposits of sales cash amounts into the company’s account.
• Provide the direct manager with regular reports on competitors' activities and promotions.
• Handle customer complaints professionally, striving for resolution and reporting unresolved issues to the direct manager.
• Commit to achieving management goals and implementing required Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Implement all company policies and instructions.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

This role also involves collaborative efforts and a proactive approach to enhancing sales processes and overall showroom performance.

• Cooperate with other branches to facilitate the resale of slow-moving items.
• Submit periodic reports detailing achievements, problems, and failures to the direct manager.
• Propose helpful ideas and suggestions to develop the sales process and value.
• Execute all job-related activities using safe and environmentally sound methods.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.
