Technical Support Engineer

About the Role

Jazeera Paints is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Khamis Mushayt. This full-time role focuses on providing essential technical guidance to both customers and the sales team, ensuring product understanding and successful application.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and support to customers and the sales team.
• Conduct product sample applications at customer sites to secure product approval.
• Perform tests on new and modified products to ensure compliance with standard specifications.
• Analyze competitor products and offer insights to the R&D department for competitive advantage.
• Assist in updating technical specifications (TDS & MSDS) for all products.
• Support the review of technical displays (*, brochures, catalogues, videos, stands) for technical accuracy.
• Conduct regular research and studies on existing market products, sales and project needs, and new project specifications.
• Identify gaps in the product range and collaborate with the R&D team to develop suitable solutions.
• Research and study new application techniques and paint tools.
• Assist in the implementation of training programs for the sales team, carpentry professionals, and clients.
• Consult on customer complaints to provide appropriate solutions.
• Document and report all related processes to the direct manager.
• Ensure adherence to 5S principles and safety regulations in all application areas.
• Perform routine maintenance of all instruments.
• Execute all assigned job-related tasks as directed by the manager.
• Conduct all functional activities using safe and environmentally friendly methods.

Work Environment

This role is based in Khamis Mushayt and involves working within a team dedicated to technical support and product development. The position requires adherence to safety and environmental standards in all operational areas.
