This organization is renowned for producing paper-based consumer products and operates globally across various sectors including Personal Care, Consumer Tissue, and HealthCare.
Key Responsibilities:- Safe Operation: Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift while performing stock-keeping duties.
- Receiving/Put-Away: Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations while efficiently stacking and storing materials.
- Quality Control: Ensure accuracy and damage-free inbound and outbound shipments and report any quality variances.
- Order Picking: Prepare materials for shipment ensuring the exact number and type of materials are loaded.
- Loading: Efficiently move products into rail cars or trailers from staging and storage areas.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate equipment such as forklifts and perform daily inspections and minor maintenance as required.
- Inventory Management: Maintain records and ensure tight inventory control and security.
- Safety: Maintain a tidy work area and assist in warehouse security.
Qualifications:- Experience operating a forklift.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift 3050 pounds.
- Experience with multiple forklift types preferred.
- Understanding instructions in English is an advantage.
