Solar Energy Engineer (Site Engineer)

About the Role

Al Raqi Development & Construction is seeking a Solar Energy Engineer (Site Engineer) to join their team in Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on a solar park project near Medina, beginning with critical groundwork phases. The engineer will be responsible for supervising site activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise excavation, trenching, and foundation works for the solar park project.
• Verify that all site works adhere to approved design drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, surveyors, and various site teams.
• Monitor project progress, quality assurance, and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports detailing site activities.
• Provide support during the subsequent installation phases of photovoltaic (PV) systems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering field.
• Demonstrated experience with solar park or utility-scale projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD (Computer-Aided Design software) or PVsyst (PV system simulation software) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
