CNC Technician

About the Role

Neproplast is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Technician to join its CNC Workshop team. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with operations also in Jeddah, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to manufacture, repair, and modify precision components.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Milling, EDM Wire Cut, and EDM Sinker machines.
• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam or equivalent CAM software.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, mold designs, machining specifications, and tolerances.
• Manufacture, repair, and modify injection mold components, dies, and extrusion tooling used in plastic manufacturing.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
• Perform accurate dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and carry out routine preventive maintenance.
• Minimize machining defects, material waste, and equipment downtime.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and tooling teams to complete workshop assignments efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, workplace safety procedures, and maintenance requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience as a CNC Technician or in a similar role.
• Proven experience in setting up and operating CNC Milling, EDM Wire Cut, and EDM Sinker machines.
• Proficiency in developing and modifying CNC programs using Mastercam or equivalent CAM software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, mold designs, machining specifications, and tolerances.
• Background in mold manufacturing or tooling, particularly with injection mold components, dies, and extrusion tooling.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

Work Location

This position is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with activities also covering Jeddah.
