The Role

As the Data Management Office General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization's comprehensive data management strategy. This involves ensuring data quality, implementing effective data policies and procedures, and leading a dedicated team of data professionals. This is a full-time position based in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data management strategies and policies to ensure data accuracy, security, and accessibility.
• Oversee data governance processes and standards to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of data professionals to achieve data management objectives.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integrity and integration across systems.
• Analyze data management processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and provide data-driven solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data management to drive innovation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is considered a plus.
• Proven experience in data management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Overall experience in the field should exceed 10 years.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, data integration, and data security principles.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, essential for leading a team and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement data management strategies that align with business goals.
• Certifications in data management (*, CDMP, CDP) are a distinct advantage.
