About the Role

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a Food Services Supervisor to join their team in Makkah. This full-time role involves overseeing daily food service operations to ensure optimal guest satisfaction and efficient team performance. The supervisor will play a key role in maintaining service standards and supporting management functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure staff collaboration for optimum service delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing premises.
• Monitor storage areas for organization, adherence to FIFO, and cleanliness.
• Conduct inventories, stock supplies, and requisition necessary items.
• Oversee dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and well-being.
• Submit work orders for maintenance and repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, and employee motivation.
• Serve as a role model and initial contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies; report incidents and unsafe conditions; and complete required safety training.
• Ensure professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome guests according to standards, anticipate needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally, foster positive working relationships, support team goals, and address employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and identify opportunities for efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, or cost savings.
• Perform visual inspections of information, tools, equipment, or machines.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift and move objects up to 50 pounds; and navigate various physical spaces.
• Execute other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
