About the Role

Crown Holdings is seeking a skilled Front End Washer Mechanic to join our team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role involves maintaining and troubleshooting specialized machinery within our can manufacturing facility, ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of front-end washing equipment.

Role Context

The Front End Washer Mechanic is crucial for the continuous operation of our production lines. This position focuses on the preventative and corrective maintenance of complex washing systems, contributing directly to manufacturing efficiency and product quality. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving mechanical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative measures on front-end washing machines and related auxiliary equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on washers, dryers, and associated conveyance systems.
• Troubleshoot complex machinery malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Execute scheduled and unscheduled repairs, including component replacement, alignment, and calibration.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to aid in troubleshooting and repair activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine performance and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar mechanic role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in our manufacturing facility in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to operations in Jeddah. The role involves working in a dynamic production environment, requiring adherence to strict safety standards and collaborative interaction with production teams.
