An opportunity has arisen for a Hotel Manager (Saudi National) to join the Executive Office at Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah. This full-time role is based in Makkah, located minutes from Masjid Al Haram, offering a blend of comfort and Arabian hospitality within a property featuring diverse dining, retail, a gym, executive lounge, and meeting spaces.

Role Summary

The Hotel Manager will support the General Manager in implementing the property’s commercial and revenue strategies, ensuring operational excellence and profitability. This position involves leading core operational departments, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring the seamless functioning of hotel operations, particularly in the General Manager's absence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in executing the property’s commercial and revenue management strategy, aligning with Group Operations’ objectives and adapting to changes in guest needs and the competitive landscape.
• Lead core operational activities including room management, food and beverage, housekeeping, engineering, and front office, conducting frequent inspections and facilitating team meetings.
• Manage guest requests and feedback, monitoring services to ensure operational excellence, maximize profitability, and maintain policy compliance.
• Oversee Hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring smooth and continuous functioning.
• Drive and implement audit and compliance strategies in line with SBU-specific standard operating procedures and policies to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Monitor and reinforce guest service standards, manage feedback channels, and verify guest satisfaction to foster continuous improvement and world-class service delivery.
• Address performance issues within operational departments, providing training, development, coaching, counseling, and conducting performance evaluations for team members and managers.
• Direct the preparation and consolidation of the operations budget, monitoring financial performance against the budget to identify costs, areas for improvement, and capitalize on performance opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in luxury hotel operations.
• At least 3–5 years in a Hotel Manager or senior operational leadership role within a luxury 5-star hotel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Strong leadership, operational, and financial management skills with a proven track record in driving guest satisfaction and business performance.
• Excellent knowledge of hotel operations, quality standards, and luxury hospitality service.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced luxury environment.
