About the Company and Role

International Water Distribution Co. (Tawzea) is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join its operational team in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are looking to develop their skills in the maintenance and support of critical water infrastructure systems.

Role Summary

The Instrumentation Technician will provide essential support for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation equipment and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of lift station processes and maintaining system integrity under the guidance of senior technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of various instrumentation equipment, including sensors, flow meters, pressure gauges, and level transmitters.
• Support the operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of SCADA systems to ensure seamless communication and control of lift station processes.
• Perform regular inspections and basic troubleshooting of control panels and PLCs under the direct supervision of senior technicians.
• Monitor data from SCADA systems to identify anomalies and report any detected issues to the operations team promptly.
• Assist in configuring and maintaining communication networks for SCADA systems, encompassing both wired and wireless components.
• Support senior technicians in executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities on instrumentation and SCADA hardware and software.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of calibration procedures, repair activities, and overall system performance.
• Adhere strictly to all established safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards pertinent to instrumentation and SCADA operations.
• Participate actively in training programs designed to enhance technical skills in instrumentation and SCADA systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in instrumentation, control systems, or a related technical field.
• A foundational understanding of instrumentation principles and SCADA systems is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions, learn new technical skills, and work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to operational guidelines.
