Mobile Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

About the Role

APEX Tech is seeking a Mobile Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join its Facilities Management team. This full-time, field-based role involves supporting maintenance assignments across Jeddah and Makkah. The technician will be responsible for independently assessing and completing maintenance work, communicating professionally with customers, and maintaining accurate service records.

Key Responsibilities

The Mobile Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician will perform assigned maintenance activities in accordance with APEX Tech SOPs, client requirements, customer instructions, and relevant Saudi Civil Defense, SASO, traffic, and HSE safety standards. Responsibilities include:

• Electrical Maintenance: Carrying out routine electrical service and repair, including lighting fixture installation, switch/socket replacement, AC/heater heat plate installation, and ventilation fan installation. Identifying electrical faults and performing safe corrective work.
• Plumbing Maintenance: Diagnosing and performing common plumbing works such as blockage removal, flush-tank installation/repair, toilet installation/repair, tap installation/repair, and geyser/washing-machine leakage repair.
• HVAC Maintenance: Performing HVAC service activities including split/window AC deep cleaning, basic servicing, filter cleaning/replacement, and minor corrective works such as Freon refill and AC installation/uninstallation.
• General Civil Works & Building Maintenance: Carrying out carpentry and handyman activities including mirror, shelf, and accessory installation, furniture assembly and repair, and minor painting touch-ups.
• Mobile Work Order & Customer Management: Reviewing work instructions, organizing tasks, traveling efficiently between locations, providing timely status updates, and communicating professionally with customers.
• Tools, Equipment & Material Handling: Carrying, organizing, securing, and maintaining assigned tools, testing instruments, PPE, and mobile service equipment. Using spare parts and consumables responsibly.
• HSE, Mobility & Customer Conduct: Following all APEX HSE procedures, client safety requirements, and Saudi traffic regulations. Maintaining professional conduct with customers and reporting safety hazards or service quality issues.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a similar maintenance role. The position requires strong technical skills across multiple disciplines, the ability to work independently in a fast-moving field environment, and excellent customer service capabilities.

Work Environment

This is a field-based position requiring travel between assigned locations in Jeddah and Makkah. The technician will work independently while adhering to APEX quality standards and escalating complex or unsafe requirements as needed.
