About the Role
Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Registrar to join their team in Makkah, Makkah Region. This full-time position involves diagnosing and treating injuries or illnesses within the Orthopedic department, requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and document findings accurately.
- Design and execute comprehensive patient care plans.
- Educate patients on their health conditions, required investigations, treatment options, and medication use.
- Provide patient education on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Order and review results of patient investigations.
- Prescribe appropriate medications for patients.
- Fulfill all obligations related to maintaining patient records.
- Adhere to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures (P&P), Bylaws Strategic Plan, Rules & Regulations.
- Comply with the mission, vision, goals, and practice guidelines of NCC.
- Actively participate in assigned NCC Committees and Task Forces.
- Adhere to CBAHI standards of care.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments, local agencies, vendors, patients, and their families.
- Complete fire safety requirements.
- Comply with clinical and departmental structure standards, including attendance.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with Clinical, MOH, and CBAHI quality standards.
- Contribute to the continuous professional development of junior staff.
- Integrate population factors such as heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care.
- Develop, participate in, and support active Continuing Medical Education programs as assigned by the chairman.
Specialty Tasks
- Perform specific privileges based on training, experience, skills, and in accordance with Saudi health council guidelines.
- Undertake additional tasks as determined by specialty and clinical privileges.
Work Environment and Conditions
The role is primarily based indoors (100%). The working schedule involves 6 working days per week with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, structured according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
