Rotana Hotels is seeking a dedicated Painter to join our maintenance team in Makkah. This full-time position is suited for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in a similar role, who are committed to upholding the high aesthetic standards of our hotel property. The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring a well-maintained and visually appealing environment for all guests and staff.

Role Summary

As a Painter, you will be responsible for all decoration maintenance and repair works pertaining to the fabric of the hotel building. This encompasses a variety of tasks including wallpapering, painting, and general decorating, ensuring that all surfaces and finishes meet the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all necessary preparation works and decorate ceilings and walls throughout the property.
• Prepare and decorate all woodwork elements, such as doors, architraves, windows, and skirting boards.
• Strip and prepare walls for the application of new wallpaper as instructed.
• Repair and maintain existing wall coverings to ensure their longevity and appearance.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules for all decorating jobs as directed by supervisory staff.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education in technical studies or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Previous experience ranging from 0 to 1 year in a similar role is essential.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Ability to adhere to established company policies and regulations.
• Must be in good physical condition to perform the demands of the role.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and rectify faults within relevant systems and decorative elements.
