The Role: Safety Officer – Risk Management

An opportunity is available for a Safety Officer – Risk Management to join the team at Jumeirah Jabal Omar. This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The Safety Officer will be instrumental in developing and implementing safety plans, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing risk within the hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement workplace safety plans in accordance with official guidelines.
• Maintain continuous compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
• Develop and enforce measures to assure the safety of all personnel.
• Promote and ensure the practice of safe working techniques across the property.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement preventative measures.
• Monitor and assess hazardous and unsafe situations, taking appropriate action.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Secondary Education.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations.
• Possession of a Health and Safety Certification.
• Experience level: 0-1 years in a relevant field.

Compensation and Location

This full-time position is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, at Jumeirah Jabal Omar. An attractive salary, paid in Saudi Riyals (SAR), will be offered to the successful candidate.
