About the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Senior Registrar in Pediatrics to join our healthcare team in Makkah, with opportunities in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on providing comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients across all age groups, including newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. The position involves both in-person and telemedicine consultations, emphasizing child health promotion, diagnosis, and treatment of various pediatric conditions.

Role Purpose and Contribution

As a Senior Registrar, you will contribute to ensuring the well-being of pediatric patients by delivering family-centered care and supporting the organization's commitment to exceptional healthcare services. The role involves practicing population health management and value-based care, with a focus on improving patient outcomes through efficient and effective healthcare delivery. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes and promote the well-being of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental well-being.
  • Conduct thorough medical assessments, including patient histories, physical examinations, and the ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests specific to pediatric patients.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine, family-centered care, and age-specific considerations.
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric conditions, including acute illnesses, chronic diseases, developmental disorders, and behavioral health concerns.
  • Promote preventive healthcare measures such as well-child visits, vaccinations, growth and development monitoring, and health education for parents and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with specialists, pediatric nurses, allied healthcare professionals, and community resources to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Practice population health management by identifying and addressing pediatric health issues at the community level, implementing preventive measures, and promoting health awareness.
  • Utilize telemedicine platforms for remote consultations, patient progress monitoring, and virtual follow-up care.
  • Embrace value-based care principles to optimize patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs through care coordination, preventive measures, and efficient resource utilization.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on child health, disease prevention, growth and development milestones, and strategies for managing common childhood conditions.
  • Stay updated with advancements in pediatric medicine, including new treatment modalities, guidelines, population health management strategies, and value-based care models.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for pediatric patients, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and clinical audits to enhance patient care and outcomes in pediatrics.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Pediatrics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in providing medical care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Proficiency in conducting medical assessments and interpreting diagnostic tests relevant to pediatric patients.
  • Experience in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans.
  • Familiarity with population health management and value-based care principles.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with opportunities also available in Jeddah. The role involves working within a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting child health and development.
