Job Summary

The Site Manager oversees and manages all site operations for construction, maintenance, or facilities management projects. This full-time role involves ensuring resources, schedules, and safety standards are effectively maintained. The Site Manager leads daily activities, coordinates with project managers, contractors, and teams, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee all site operation and maintenance activities for services and systems.
• Provide professional guidance and technical support to supervisors and engineers.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager to plan and review operational activities and report irregular incidents, faults, and accidents.
• Ensure full implementation of the Work Control Program and related procedures for all O&M activities.
• Submit regular technical reports on operations, maintenance, and system performance.
• Foster a professional work environment, promote teamwork, and ensure staff understanding of assigned tasks.
• Direct, supervise, and control technical staff performance, ensuring compliance with O&M administrative policies and procedures.
• Optimize costs by minimizing unnecessary overtime, resource wastage, and controlling purchases of spare parts and consumables.
• Conduct weekly meetings with Superintendents to address technical issues and provide summaries to the Project Manager.
• Ensure the continuous availability of spare parts and consumables, verifying material requests and overseeing stock-taking.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in site management, construction, or facilities management, including hands-on experience in overseeing operations and managing teams. Experience in managing large-scale construction or maintenance projects is highly desirable.
• Certifications: Certifications in health and safety management (*, NEBOSH, OSHA) are preferred. Project management certifications (*, PMP, Prince2) are advantageous.

Work Environment

This role is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires a commitment to maintaining discipline, safety, and proper conduct among all site staff. The Site Manager will work closely with the Project Manager and various technical teams to ensure operational excellence.
