Stockyard Supervisor

About the Role

Abdul Latif Jameel is seeking a Stockyard Supervisor to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supervising and managing the daily activities and performance of operation teams according to assigned plans. The supervisor will oversee vehicle receiving at the National Distribution Center (NDC), pulling vehicles to PIO accessorization plants, vehicle picking for dispatch, and vehicle delivery from NDC to ALJID customers and wholesalers.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily dispatch plans and ensure on-time and accurate execution.
• Ensure vehicle availability in RTD or G zones to facilitate smooth operations upon trailer arrival.
• Submit delivery notes to the archive officer for retrieval when required by customers.
• Ensure timely Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) for vehicles that require it.
• Conduct manpower planning for dispatch operations.
• Maintain a zero-damage record across all areas and prevent accidents.
• Ensure a regular safety-aware working environment for all staff.

Performance Accountabilities

• Achieve 98% driver performance against assigned plans.
• Maintain VLD missing items to less than 3 cases (100% accuracy).
• Ensure 100% adherence to ALJR & ALJAW Delivery Leadtime.
• Maintain a 100% overall damage ratio.
• Achieve 100% vehicle inspection accuracy at the arrival gate.
• Maintain a 90% average score in 5’S & QA Auditing Reports.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role requires strong leadership capabilities and the ability to organize, plan, and monitor all dispatch operations. The ideal candidate will be able to manage situations under pressure and make effective decisions to ensure smooth operation.
