About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Systems Operator to join our team in Makkah or Jeddah. This full-time role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our technical infrastructure.

Role Overview

The Systems Operator is responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, and ongoing support of computer hardware, peripheral equipment, and related systems. This position plays a crucial part in maintaining operational efficiency and providing essential technical assistance within the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair technical problems or issues related to computer hardware and peripheral equipment.
• Respond to program error messages by identifying and correcting problems or terminating the program as necessary.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to address business problems effectively.
• Refer major hardware/software problems or defective products to appropriate vendors or technicians for service.
• Enter commands and activate controls on computer and peripheral equipment (*, printers) to integrate and operate equipment.
• Maintain and upgrade hardware and software, including peripherals (*, printers, scanners) and website technical architecture related to hardware and telecommunication connectivity.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.

Workplace Standards and Communication

• Report work-related accidents or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to the manager/supervisor.
• Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions, and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel.
• Follow property-specific procedures for handling emergency situations, including evacuations, medical emergencies, and natural disasters.
• Effectively exchange information with other employees through verbal communication and electronic devices (*, pagers, two-way radios, email).
• Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats, including small print.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.

Qualifications and Physical Demands

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience in a related field. The role requires the ability to perform the following physical tasks:

• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
