The Role of T&C Engineer APM Extension

Alstom is seeking a T&C Engineer APM Extension for a full-time position based in Jeddah, within the Makkah region of Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless integration and validation of transport systems, directly contributing to the success of our projects. The engineer will apply technical expertise in a specialized field, working within a collaborative and innovative team environment.

The T&C Engineer will collaborate closely with various internal teams, including the Project Engineering Manager, Project Requirement Manager, and Subsystems T&C Engineers. Key responsibilities involve planning and coordinating site tests, executing these tests, and producing detailed associated reports. The role also requires continuous development of expertise in testing and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the production of test procedures.
• Plan and coordinate site tests for system integration.
• Execute site tests and generate detailed test reports.
• Report and follow up on action plans for system malfunctions during the Testing & Commissioning (T&C) phase.
• Document system configurations during various test phases.
• Implement processes, methods, and tools related to testing and commissioning activities.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field, specifically within testing and commissioning activities for transport systems. A strong technical background and proven expertise in system integration and validation are essential.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, within the Makkah region. The role involves working as part of a collaborative and innovative team dedicated to advancing transport solutions.
