About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a Senior Testing And Commissioning Engineer (MEP) to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires proven expertise in leading testing and commissioning efforts for complex systems within large-scale engineering or infrastructure projects. The position focuses on ensuring the successful integration and performance verification of mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commissioning projects from initiation through to completion.
• Ensure systems are delivered on time and within budget constraints.
• Oversee the integration of both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for integrated systems with electrical and mechanical interdependencies.
• Perform functional testing, performance verification, and troubleshooting for electrical and mechanical systems.

Technical Expertise

The role demands comprehensive expertise in the commissioning and testing of various systems, including:

• Electrical systems: transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and control panels.
• Mechanical systems: HVAC, chillers, pumps, compressors, and piping systems.
• Factory and site acceptance testing for both mechanical and electrical equipment.

Required Skills and Tools

• Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project for tracking timelines, milestones, and resources.
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical design software.
• Expertise in IEC, ANSI, IEEE, ASME, and local electrical and mechanical safety standards.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, quality assurance practices, and industry-specific regulations for commissioning.
• A deep understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards for both mechanical and electrical works.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in a relevant field. A strong background in both electrical systems (including transformers, generators, and switchgear) and mechanical systems (such as HVAC, pumps, and turbines) is essential. Candidates must demonstrate extensive hands-on experience in managing the integration of these mechanical and electrical systems.
