The Role of Technical Manager, Contracts & Procurement

SJ Group is seeking an experienced Technical Manager – Contracts & Procurement to manage contract and procurement activities for major projects. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and focuses particularly on projects governed by Saudi government procurement regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead contract management and procurement activities for government projects.
Manage procurement processes from tender announcement through evaluation, award, and contract signing.
Ensure compliance with the Saudi Government Tenders and Procurement Law and applicable procedures.
Review tender documents, contract conditions, procurement submissions, and commercial documentation.
Manage contract administration, variations, change orders, claims, and contractual correspondence.
Develop and implement contract management procedures, policies, and best practices.
Monitor contractual obligations and address commercial and contractual risks.
Coordinate with clients, government entities, procurement teams, and project stakeholders on contractual matters.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management and procurement.
Demonstrated experience with Saudi government procurement regulations and laws.
