About Hill International and the Role

Hill International, Inc. is seeking a Training Coordinator to join our team in the Makkah region, covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah. This is a full-time position focused on supporting the development and delivery of technical training programs across the organization.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Training Coordinator will play a central role in enhancing employee competency and organizational capabilities. This involves assessing training needs, designing structured training plans and materials, and coordinating various training sessions. The role also includes evaluating program effectiveness and recommending improvements based on feedback and business requirements.

Core Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current employee competency and manage personnel appraisals.
  • Analyze and identify technical training needs within the company, then design integrated training programs.
  • Communicate with employees to discuss technical issues they encounter.
  • Develop comprehensive training materials, including outlines, handouts, and exercises.
  • Coordinate with industry experts for conducting classroom-style training and workshops.
  • Schedule training sessions effectively through e-learning platforms.
  • Ensure all newly hired employees receive relevant and necessary training.
  • Evaluate the job performance of employees to determine the impact of training after each session.
  • Collect feedback from trainers and trainees to make recommendations for program improvements.
  • Collaborate with external vendors engaged for specialized training programs.
  • Inform oneself of and ensure continued compliance with relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures within Hill International.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related subject from an accredited university.
  • Advanced project management certification.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in conducting training courses using innovative classroom techniques and standard or improvised teaching aids.
  • Proficiency in developing training plans for teams.
  • Knowledge of professional management processes and procedures.
  • Skill in personnel management and administration.
