About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Clerk Accounts Payable to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This contract position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on financial accuracy and record-keeping within the hotel environment.

Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and proper coding of financial figures, postings, and documents. This role involves maintaining financial records, managing cash and cash equivalents, and supporting audit processes to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
  • Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
  • Audit cashier banks periodically according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain, distribute, and record petty cash, cashier banks, and contracts.
  • Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all Cash Variances according to SOPs.
  • Act as a liaison between the property and armored car service or primary banking institution.
  • Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audit processes and ensure compliance with SOPs.
