About the Role

As a Nursing Professional in the VIP Ward at Fakeeh Care Group in Medina, you will deliver comprehensive patient care, encompassing clinical, administrative, and supportive duties. Key Clinical Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient health assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and symptom monitoring.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions.
• Provide wound care, including cleaning, dressing, and infection monitoring.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during medical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
• Observe and record patient conditions, reporting significant changes to the medical team.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
• Conduct purposeful rounding to meet patient needs, prevent complications, and improve care quality.
• Adhere to strict infection control standards, including hand hygiene, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Participate in infection control surveillance and reporting to help prevent facility-acquired infections.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient items and equipment according to Fakeeh Care policies.
• Follow established protocols for different emergencies (*, codes, and RRT), ensuring patient safety and effective response.
• Innovate in patient care and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.

Administrative and Supportive Duties

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient care records, including observations, interventions, and responses.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuous and integrated patient care.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families, addressing concerns and offering reassurance during stressful times.
• Advocate for patients' needs and preferences, ensuring their rights are respected and their voices are heard.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with medical practices and advancements.
• Respect diverse cultural backgrounds and incorporate patient values and beliefs into care planning.
• Oversee the work of junior staff and nursing students, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
• Identify and address issues or challenges in patient care, contributing to solutions and improvements in practice.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing manager within the scope of the job.
