Safety / EHS Engineer

About the Role

HUDSON is seeking an experienced Safety / EHS Engineer to join our team for Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects. This full-time position is based in Medina, Medina Province, and requires a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the construction and electrical infrastructure industry. The role offers a salary range of SAR 7,000 to SAR 10,000 per month.

Job Overview

The Safety / EHS Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental programs on OHTL projects. This role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies, promoting a safety-first culture, and conducting site inspections and incident investigations. Candidates should be prepared for immediate joining, ideally within 30 to 60 days.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct HSE inductions and awareness sessions for all site personnel.
• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE and welfare plans.
• Perform routine site inspections and lead incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Work Method Statements (WMS), and risk assessments.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all works are carried out in line with company HSE policies.
• Provide reports and documentation related to safety performance and site compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical).
• NEBOSH Certification – Mandatory.
• 5 to 10 years of proven experience in EHS roles.
• Experience in OHTL Projects (above 220kv).
• Valid passport with a minimum of 9 months validity.
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Work Environment

This is an on-site, full-time position primarily focused on OHTL projects within the Medina Province. The role requires active participation in site operations and adherence to strict safety protocols.
