Supervisor Engineering

About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supervisor Engineering to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah. This full-time role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of various hotel equipment and systems, ensuring operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment, recommending replacements as needed.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters, and identify and operate all shut-off valves.
• Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies, maintaining inventory and purchase order logs.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines, and utilize computers for work-related information.
• Operate power lifts and complete life safety checklists, including fire-pump and generator run tests.
• Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems, and assist in developing disaster response protocols.
• Respond promptly to guest repair requests.

Leadership and Team Support

• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Support the team in achieving common goals and address employee concerns appropriately.

Safety and Operational Compliance

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new methods to enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.

Guest Services and Communication

• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and communicate clearly and professionally.

Physical Requirements

• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
