About the Role

This is a full-time position for a Passenger Boarding Bridge Coordinator based in Najran, Saudi Arabia. The role supports the operations of airports managed by a confidential government entity, contributing to the enhancement of services and operational efficiency in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) during aircraft arrival and departure.
• Conduct daily inspections of PBBs and report any malfunctions.
• Comply with apron safety procedures and coordinate with the control tower and apron operations team.
• Operate and maintain Ground Power Units (GPU), performing preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure readiness for aircraft use.
• Operate and maintain Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA) units, ensuring appropriate cooling or heating based on aircraft type and weather conditions.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on GPUs and PCAs, monitoring unit performance.
• Operate and maintain the Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS), including testing and calibration for different aircraft models.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to PBBs, GPUs, PCAs, and VDGS promptly.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for Passenger Boarding Bridges, diagnosing and resolving electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical issues.
• Conduct periodic inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards for all equipment.
• Collaborate effectively with operators and the airport maintenance team.
• Maintain maintenance logs and prepare technical reports.
• Coordinate with system engineers and service providers as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• A diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Between 2 to 5 years of experience in a related field.
