Role Overview: Senior ICT Engineer

Jacobs is seeking a Senior ICT Engineer to join the team in Neom, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing technical leadership for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems during the completion, commissioning, handover, and close-out phases of a major water infrastructure project. The position requires over 10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior ICT Engineer will lead ICT completion and handover activities for a significant water infrastructure project in its final delivery phase. This involves close collaboration with contractors, commissioning teams, operations representatives, and client stakeholders to ensure all ICT systems meet project requirements. Responsibilities include:

• Leading ICT completion, testing, commissioning, and handover across water infrastructure assets and facilities.
• Overseeing the verification and acceptance of ICT systems, including fiber optic networks, structured cabling, LAN/WAN networks, telecommunications, wireless networks, CCTV, access control, and public address systems.
• Coordinating the resolution of technical issues, defects, punch list items, RFIs, and NCRs related to ICT systems.
• Reviewing and validating ICT testing and commissioning procedures, reports, and performance verification results.
• Ensuring all ICT systems are fully integrated with operational technologies and supporting infrastructure as required.
• Managing the review and acceptance of as-built drawings, asset registers, configuration records, warranties, and O&M documentation.
• Coordinating handover activities with client representatives, operations teams, contractors, and commissioning stakeholders.
• Supporting operational readiness activities, including system demonstrations, training sessions, and technical knowledge transfer.
• Monitoring contractor performance to ensure all ICT deliverables align with project close-out milestones.
• Promoting compliance with project standards, cybersecurity requirements, ICT governance standards, and applicable regulations.

Required Experience

• Candidates must possess more than 10 years of experience in Information and Communication Technology, specifically within infrastructure projects.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Neom, Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities extending across all SA Regions as needed for project completion and handover.
