Jazeera Paints is seeking a dedicated Control Room Operator to join our team in Rabigh. This full-time position is integral to maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of our plant processes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in monitoring and controlling critical systems to ensure safe and continuous production.

Role Summary

The Control Room Operator is primarily responsible for the operation of the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system. This involves continuous monitoring of various plant processes to ensure safe and efficient operations, precise control of process parameters, effective management of batch productions, and prompt response to any operational emergencies that may arise.

SCADA System Operation

• Operate the SCADA system for plant start-up and safe shut down procedures.
• Execute batch productions strictly according to batch tickets and specified recipes.
• Manage pigging and sanitization operations through the SCADA interface.

Process Monitoring and Control

• Monitor and control all process parameters, including flow rates, pressures, temperatures, and level transmitter readings, utilizing displays, graphics, and trend logs.
• Propose and implement suitable remedial measures in response to process deviations.
• Communicate immediately with the production supervisor for necessary batch parameter adjustments in the field during production operations, especially in cases of parameter abnormalities or process deviations.
• Monitor and control the effective and optimum usage of raw materials, chemicals, and other plant utilities in a safe manner.

Safety, Compliance, and Reporting

• Maintain and track comprehensive production reports.
• Ensure the safe shutdown of the plant during operational emergency situations.
• Identify and investigate faults, subsequently informing the production operator or Maintenance technician for remedial actions.
• Adhere strictly to the Company’s QHSE policy, standards, and approved operating procedures while performing all duties and tasks.
• Execute all assigned activities using safe and environmentally friendly methods.

General Expectations

This full-time position requires a commitment to operational excellence and adherence to established protocols. The Control Room Operator will also perform any other job-related activities as directed by the line manager to support overall plant operations and objectives.
