E learning Developer

About the Role

Al-Bilad Co. for Consultancies & Solutions is seeking an E-learning Developer to join their team in Makkah or Rabigh. This full-time role is responsible for the management, development, and continuous improvement of the Academy's Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) to support effective digital and blended learning initiatives. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Academy's Moodle LMS, ensuring effective operation and identifying opportunities for functional and usability improvements.
• Configure and update Moodle features, settings, courses, users, roles, permissions, and learning activities.
• Install, configure, maintain, and update approved Moodle plugins and extensions.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot Moodle-related issues, and coordinate with IT teams and external vendors for technical support and system enhancements.
• Create, configure, and maintain courses and learning pathways on Moodle, including uploading and organizing training materials, videos, presentations, and assessments.
• Support trainers in using Moodle effectively for course delivery and learner engagement, and develop online activities, quizzes, and surveys.
• Manage learner and trainer accounts, enrollments, groups, and access permissions, while monitoring participation, progress, and assessment results.
• Provide technical guidance and support to trainers and trainees on Moodle usage and identify recurring user issues to enhance the user experience.
• Generate and maintain Moodle reports and learning analytics, monitoring course enrollment, attendance, completion rates, and learner activity.
• Evaluate Moodle functionality, recommend new features and integrations, and stay updated on Moodle developments and e-learning best practices.
• Coordinate with various departments (Training, Curriculum & R&D, Assessment, Quality, IT) to ensure effective implementation of e-learning activities.
• Ensure digital learning content and Moodle practices comply with Academy policies and quality requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation related to Moodle configuration, courses, users, updates, and system changes.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar e-learning development or Moodle administration role.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and maintaining Moodle LMS.
• Proficiency in configuring Moodle features, settings, and plugins.
• Experience with course and content management within an LMS.
• Ability to provide technical support and guidance to users.
