The Role: Maintenance Engineer

Petro Rabigh is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join its team in Rabigh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience, preferably within the refinery or petrochemical industry. The role involves managing complex engineering problems, leading project proposals, and supervising project execution to ensure adherence to standards and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare work schedules and guide the development of designs, processes, and related data for complex engineering problems, ensuring timely completion and adherence to engineering standards.
• Lead the development of proposals for highly complex engineering projects, including scope definition, interrelationships, physical solution definition, and cost estimation.
• Supervise project execution to ensure implementation aligns with the established plan.
• Recommend new refinery and petrochemical installations or modifications to enhance existing facilities and promote standardization.
• Review and consolidate reports on engineering studies to support management decision-making processes.
• Provide coaching to junior engineers and oversee their work to facilitate proper skill transfer and enhance performance according to standards.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Sr. Supervisor Engineering and Planning.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in the refinery or petrochemical industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, and design details.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a team environment, contributing to the operational efficiency and continuous improvement of refinery and petrochemical facilities.
