Role Overview: Valve Technician II

KBR is seeking a Valve Technician II to join its team in Rabigh or Makkah, Makkah region. This full-time role is essential for maintaining rotating equipment in optimal condition. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment and mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to required standards. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Allocate maintenance activities to various technicians and assemble the necessary team.
• Supervise all ongoing jobs and provide progress updates to the Foreman.
• Organize manpower resources, equipment, and material availability for tasks.
• Arrange necessary work permits prior to commencing work.
• Provide technical advice to technicians regarding the proper use of tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning, and Technical departments to ensure job execution and completion.
• Ensure accurate SAP data input, history, and actual hours are maintained.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.

Safety and Compliance

• Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to safe work practices, hazardous work regulations, and proper PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
• Encourage the reporting of Near Misses, unsafe conditions, and acts.
• Participate in Safety audits.
• Attend scheduled Safety and Technical training sessions.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating proficiency in the maintenance and repair of rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
