Job Summary:We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals in and around our aquatic facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills, quick response capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment. This role requires professionalism, physical fitness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety.
- Respond immediately to emergencies and perform lifesaving procedures as needed.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to prevent unsafe behavior.
- Inspect safety equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the pool area and related facilities.
- Educate patrons on water safety and facility policies.
- Participate in regular training sessions and emergency drills.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 13 years of experience as a lifeguard in a pool, beach, or recreational facility.
- Valid Lifeguard Certification (Red Cross or equivalent).
- Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.
- Strong swimming ability and physical endurance.
- Excellent communication, observational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Commitment to safety and high standards of customer service.
